The PERFEKT-hose-bandage.

Description:

This hose-bandage was optimized throughout the years and is perfectly suitable for use in the fire fighting industry such as surface construction and civil engineering.

This PERFEKT-hose-bandage made from highly flexible spring steel and the cellular rubber inlay with high gloss zinc-coated eccentric clasp is guaranteed rust-proof and weather resistant.

Highly flexible, 70 mm wide spring steel is synthetically coated twice and all edges are additionally sealed with luminous red PVC-tape. Corrosion proof cellular rubber inlay (3 mm) ensures maximum sealing. Very robust high gloss zinc-coated hardware is made from steel and just like all other used metals/materials fully rust-proof.

The eccentric clasp with the cellular rubber inlay was developed in order to adjust the hose-bandage to a particular hose size, regarding thickness of hose fabric, but also to the slightly changing diameter (due to pressure differences).

Distinctive characteristics:
  • No damage to the hose fabric caused by sharp edges, because the hose only gets in contact with the soft cellular rubber inlay.
  • Easy to store; when spread out it is absolutely flat.
  • Maximum leak prevention efficiency due to corrosion proof cellular rubber inlay with special surface.
  • No slipping out of place due to the excellent adhesion of cellular rubber.
  • Easy to spot; eye catching coloring (white with luminous red stripes). No losing or leaving behind at location of emergency.
  • Worse hose damage can be controlled by using two or more hose-bandages next to each other.

The Problem

The Problem

In case of an emergency and while firefighting, a hose may rip or may start leaking water.

The Solution

First Step

Take the hose-bandage, which matches the hose, out of the storage bag.

Second Step

Place the hose-bandage left or right from the leaking spot on the hose and place the trigger in one of the two size settings, depending on the hose.

Third Step

Now position the hose-bandage on top of the leaking spot and close the eccentric clasp – DONE!
